Comparative Study of Carbon Nanosphere and Carbon Nanopowder on Viscosity and Thermal Conductivity of Nanofluids

چکیده

A comparative research on stability, viscosity (µ), and thermal conductivity (k) of carbon nanosphere (CNS) nanopowder (CNP) nanofluids was performed. CNS synthesized by the hydrothermal method, while CNP provided manufacturer. Stable at high concentrations 0.5, 1.0, 1.5 vol% were prepared successfully. The properties nanoparticles analyzed with Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), scanning electron microscope (SEM), X-ray photoelectron (XPS), specific surface area (SBET), powder diffraction (XRD), thermogravimetry/differential analysis (TG/DTA), energy dispersive (EDX). have highest k enhancement 10.61% for concentration compared to base fluid, does not make (knf) significantly higher. studied Newtonian. relative µ 1.04 1.07 0.5 30 °C. These results can be explained different sizes crystallinity used nanoparticles.
